Somatic Alchemy
A full moon embodiment ritual
The Practice
Utilizing movement, breath, sound, the qualities of each month's full moon, and the medicine of community, we illuminate our individual and collective awareness around where we are currently, what is ready to be released, and where we would like to go with this newfound spaciousness.
Join Bri every month at House of Awakening around the full moon for a monthly practice of embodiment, alignment, and activation.
Each month is a unique culmination of practice, reflection, lunar energy work, and always, somatics—working with the body.
Wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring a notebook and pen for a short journaling practice at the end of the session.
Please arrive on time, as the doors will be closed once we start.

About this fullmoon
Full Moon in Aries (Sun in Libra)
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Symbolically, it represents the moment consciousness says: "I exist."
Aries wants movement, fire, activation. It asks:
"Who am I when I stand fully in my own truth?"
Because the Sun is in Libra, the lesson isn't simply, "Choose yourself no matter what."
Libra asks:
"How do I remain connected to others without abandoning myself?"
The Aries–Libra polarity is associated with the self/other axis, making this Full Moon particularly potent for relationship revelations and renegotiating how you show up with others.

We are constantly being asked to make sense of our lives; to know who we are, what we want, where we're going, and what comes next. And so often, we look to the mind for the answers.
But not everything can be figured out through thinking.
Sometimes clarity comes through feeling. Sometimes the next step reveals itself when we stop trying to find the answer and start listening to what is happening inside the body.
Movement gives us a pathway into that listening. It brings us out of the constant conversation of the mind and into direct experience—into sensation, instinct, emotion, pleasure, expression, and presence.
Science is catching up to what many cultures across time have known for years: that the path to healing, to clarity, to expressing all that ails and uplifts us—and everything in between—can be found through movement.
To move these bodies, these sacred vessels that house the sensational experience of being human, is to come into our aliveness. To come into our knowing. To remember our truth.
In this gathering, you are invited to drop from the mind down into the body—to listen, to feel, and to give shape to the wisdom, needs, and desires of your unique vessel.
This is a guided practice with invitations, but the exploration is entirely yours. Your compass is your intention and your own body. The space becomes a container for a ritual of movement, held within an intimate group of movers.
No dance experience is necessary. Only a willingness to be with yourself and a curiosity to explore your inner world through movement.
