Gong Practice Circle & Singing Bowls Practice Circle
Learning sound healing techniques is one thing. Becoming truly comfortable with your instrument is something that grows through practice, repetition, listening, and presence.
Once a month, we invite you to join Aistė Li for two dedicated evening practice circles at House of Awakening: one focused on gong and one focused on singing bowls.
These evenings are created as an ongoing space for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with sound, gain confidence, explore different techniques, and become more present when holding space for others.
They are not an education or certification, but dedicated practice sessions where you can learn through experience.
Gong practice circle
An evening dedicated to exploring and practicing the gong.
Together we will work with different playing techniques, mallets, rhythm, dynamics, silence and flow. We will practice giving and receiving gong baths, experiment without pressure, ask questions and share experiences.
The gong can also be a powerful mirror for the person playing it. Through practice, emotions, insights and personal processes may arise, making our own inner work an important part of learning to hold space for others.
Bring your own gong if you have one. If you don't own a gong yet but would love to practice and perhaps offer gong baths in the future, you are warmly welcome too.
Singingbowls practice circle
An evening dedicated to developing your relationship with singing bowls.
We will give and receive singing bowl meditations, practice individual sound treatments, explore different bowls and refine technique, touch, listening and presence.
Every singing bowl has its own voice and character. The more time we spend with the bowls, the more we begin to understand their nuances and how they respond. These evenings give you the time and space to explore that relationship without needing to perform or get everything "right."
Bring your own bowls if you have them. If not, bowls will be available for you to practice with.
Everyone is welcome
You don't need to be an experienced sound practitioner to join. Whether you are completely new, have recently completed a sound training, or have worked with sound for years, you are welcome.
Experienced practitioners are equally invited to come, practice, exchange knowledge and explore new perspectives. There is always more to discover when we listen together.
You can join the evenings individually whenever it suits you, or make them part of your regular monthly practice.
Two circles. Two instruments. One shared intention: to practice, listen, explore and grow.

From technique to intuition
In the beginning, we teach our hands. We learn different strokes, mallets, rhythms, dynamics, techniques and ways of creating sound.
With practice, something begins to shift.
The techniques become part of the body, the thinking mind becomes quieter, and there is more room for intuition, sensitivity and presence. Instead of constantly wondering "What should I play next?", we begin to listen—to the instrument, the room, the person receiving and the silence between the sounds.
This is where sound becomes more than something we create. It becomes a conversation.
When we offer a gong bath, sound meditation or individual sound treatment, we are also holding space for another person's experience. The more grounded and comfortable we are with our instruments, the more fully we can be present for the people receiving.
These monthly circles give you a place to develop exactly that.
