KAP ~ kundalini activation process ~
We are so happy to invite you into a special space to experience KAP – Kundalini Activation Process.
This is the first in a series of upcoming events with Cattie, guiding you into a deeper connection with your energy, body and inner landscape.
KAP is a powerful yet gentle practice where you are invited to surrender to the body's own intelligence and the natural movement of energy. You simply lie on a yoga mat with your eyes closed while music and energetic facilitation support the experience.
For some, it may feel like release. For others, it can bring stillness, clarity, insight or a sense of deeper connection. Every experience is unique, and there is no right or wrong way to experience KAP.
An invitation to let go, stay curious and meet yourself in a safe and present space.
We look forward to welcoming you – and to sharing many more experiences with Cattie at House of Awakening.

What can you expect?
During the session, you lie on a yoga mat with your eyes closed while music is played. The facilitator may use gentle touch on different chakra and meridian points as part of the practice.
You may experience spontaneous movement, tingling, shaking, laughter, tears or other emotional responses. Others may notice colours or imagery, sensations of warmth or cold, deep stillness or a feeling of lightness and bliss.
Every experience is different. There is nothing you need to achieve or force – simply allow yourself to notice and experience whatever naturally arises.
Many participants describe the experience as deeply releasing, grounding or restorative.
What is Kap?
When I hold space, my intention is to offer a gentle, safe and natural experience of Kundalini energy – life force – and non-duality, or a sense of oneness.
Within KAP, the facilitator is seen as a channel for the energy, supporting you in connecting with your own innate life force. By relaxing, letting go and softening your defences, you are invited to allow the experience to unfold naturally.
KAP differs from practices such as breathwork and Kundalini yoga, where you actively work with the breath, movement or other techniques. In KAP, the practice is based around surrender and receiving rather than actively generating energy.
Within the KAP tradition, this is described as an energetic transmission that can support the release of perceived blocks and stagnation, allowing energy to move more freely through the body.
You remain conscious throughout the experience, and there is nothing you need to force or achieve.
What can happen, and how does it feel?
During a KAP session, you lie on a yoga mat with your eyes closed while music is played. The facilitator may use gentle touch on different chakra and meridian points as part of the practice.
Experiences vary greatly. You may notice spontaneous movement, tingling, shaking, laughter, tears or other emotional responses. Some people describe seeing colours or imagery, feeling warmth or cold, experiencing deep stillness or entering a blissful, meditative state.
There is nothing you need to force or achieve – simply allow yourself to experience whatever naturally arises.
Many participants describe KAP as releasing, cleansing and deeply restorative, and some find that regular practice supports a stronger connection to their intuition, heart and inner awareness.
While what happens on the mat can feel powerful, the most meaningful part is how the experience integrates into your everyday life.

No previous experience is necessary. Come as you are ♥️
When I hold space, my intention is to facilitate a gentle, safe, and natural transmission of kundalini (life force energy) and non-duality (a higher state of consciousness / oneness). As a facilitator, I act as a tool and a channel for the energy, which activates your own innate life force.
This is something we clearly see in animals and children – they live in their full power and freely express their emotions.
By relaxing, letting go, and lowering your defenses, the energy can flow freely to where it is needed.
Over time, this may lead to what is known as a kundalini awakening.
KAP is not dangerous, and it is not something that takes over you or your consciousness.
KAP differs from other kundalini practices such as breathwork and kundalini yoga, where you actively work to generate the energy yourself.
In KAP, the energy is transmitted through the crown chakra, releasing blockages and stagnation as it moves toward the root chakra, allowing it to flow freely between them.
During the session, you will lie on a yoga mat with your eyes closed. Music will be played while the facilitator activates the energy through light touch on different chakra and meridian points on the body.
Spontaneous movements, tingling sensations in the fingers, stiff arms, shaking, or emotional release such as screaming, laughter, or crying are all completely normal. These are natural responses of the body and are welcome to arise.
Other experiences may include seeing images or colors, having visions, or feeling warmth or cold in the body. You may also feel heavy, experience bliss, or rest in a state of non-duality – like a deep, dream-like stillness.
All you need to do is allow whatever wants to arise to come.
Many experience the process as releasing, cleansing, and deeply healing.
KAP can strengthen your intuition and bring you closer to your heart and your true essence. Many also experience deeper insights and a richer perspective on life when practicing KAP regularly.
While what happens on the mat can be beautiful and transformative, what unfolds in your life outside the sessions is what truly matters.

Cattie Gullstrand Bergåsa
KAP Facilitator · Level 2
I am trained in both KAP Level 1 and Level 2 by KAP founder Venant Wong.
I regularly facilitate KAP sessions at my own studio in Helsingborg, where I hold sessions every other week. I also travel regularly to Gothenburg, Halmstad, Karlskrona and Malmö to share KAP with different communities.
My intention is to create a safe and supportive space where you can surrender, connect with your inner experience and allow the process to unfold naturally.
